Beauty queen with 5 academic degrees makes 2 new entries into Malaysia Book of Records

Proving that one can be both stunning on the stage and in school,
former Miss World Malaysia 2008 Dr Soo Wincci has made it to the Malaysia Book
of Records once again.

In 2016, she earned a spot in the book as the first Miss World Malaysia to be a PhD holder.

Now, she scored a double win with TWO entries into the Malaysia Book of Records with “Most Academic Degrees Achieved By A Beauty Queen” and “Most Academic Degrees Achieved By A Recording Artist”.

Soo made the announcement on her Instagram profile as she
graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Post Master Degree Fellowship.

As if this isn’t impressive enough, the beauty queen has FIVE
academic degrees.

The 33-year-old has a law degree from the University of Reading, UK, an MBA from the University of Sunshine Coast, Australia, a PhD in Business from Open University Malaysia, a master’s degree in music production, innovation and technology from Berklee College of Music AND Post Master Degree Fellowship from Berklee College of Music.

She shared her joy with her followers, showing her 15-year academic journey, saying that her desire to keep learning comes from how she wasn’t born smart or lucky.

Soo also took the opportunity to show her Malaysian pride, waving the Jalur Gemilang at her graduation ceremony in Valencia, Spain.
