PJ-ians, Jalan Semangat is changing name to honour historian
The iconic Jalan Semangat that runs from SK Sri Petaling right till Lisa De Inn hotel of about 1.5km will be changed to Jalan Professor Khoo Kay Kim.
Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Khoo Kay Kim was a famous historian who was responsible for the creation of the Rukun Negara.
As a legacy, he was chosen to be eternally remembered by fellow Selangor-ians after he passed away in May this year.

After the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah gave his consent, Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari announced the name change in a statement today.
As a nationalist that stayed in Petaling Jaya, this move is hugely significant.
Though at the time of writing, there has been no announcement to when the name change will take effect.
Guess KL isn’t the only city changing names huh?
