Dr M says videos nowadays can be faked. We might one day see one of him


Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has ridiculed those who pay too much attention to scandalous videos.
“You percaya? Takkan la bodoh sampai macam tu.
“Nowadays, you can produce all kinds of pictures if you are clever enough.
“One day, you may see my picture like that. It will be very funny.”

At the same time, he condemned such practices calling the move dirty politics and urged Malaysian politicians to keep their campaigns above the belt.
“This is cooked up by someone who has a political agenda. That is all.
“I’d say it is dirty politics. If you cannot win against somebody, don’t do these dirty things. Keep politics a little bit cleaner.”

He also questioned the motive of a young man who admitted to being in a scandalous video.

“The boy who admitted, it was deliberate. If not, he would not have admitted. Normally, the person who does it will be embarrassed.
“But this person isn’t embarrassed and said: ‘I did that.’ What is his intention?”
