‘Abang Botak’ sentenced to 12 months jail for smashing car windscreen with helmet

Yesterday, Malaysians were shocked and outraged when a video of a motorcyclist smashing the windscreen of a car went viral.

The angry man, nicknamed ‘Abang Botak’, was ridiculed for being a road bully with many demanding his arrest.

Looks like PDRM heard our voices because ‘Abang Botak’ has been sentenced to 12 months’ jail today, less than 24 hours after his arrest!

Danial Abdullah Tan, 31, was charged with causing mischief to a Perodua Alza belonging to Siew Chean Voon, 58, under Section 427 of the Penal Code.

According to New Straits Times, he told the court that the car had nearly hit him twice and the driver flipped the finger at him, causing him to crack and basically hulk smash the windscreen.

However, people were overjoyed that justice has prevailed and cheered on the good work of our boys in blue.

Regardless, we’re glad that the matter has been resolved and hope that Danial will have learned his lesson.
