Over the weekend, a mother of 2 was attacked by a 6 metre python in Kedah.
Halifah Othman had left her house at around 11pm to throw out rubbish when she was ambushed by the snake as reported by the Star.
Her children had rushed to help her but were unable to kill the snake so they called other villagers for help.
The villagers were forced to kill the 50 kilogram snake as the Civil Defence Force (APM) only arrived about 30 minutes later as reported by Berita Harian.
Halifah suffered several snakebite injuries to her leg, hand and head and was rushed for treatment in Kulim hospital.
Later, Halifah’s eldest son, Mohd Rasil, 16, claims they buried the dead python.
