Not everyone treats animals with kindness, and Threads user @mdaudyusof recently witnessed this firsthand.

While waiting for his child at the Risda Keratong rest area in Bandar Tun Abdul Razak, Pahang, he noticed a woman approaching a group of four children who were feeding stray cats nearby.

He claimed that the woman questioned why they were doing it.

@mdaudyusof stepped in, explaining that the cats were hungry, and gently suggested she let the children continue feeding them.

But instead of backing off, the woman walked toward the cats and began kicking them. In the video, she’s seen kicking a white cat so hard it went flying.

She then turned on the children, scolding them and demanding to know why they “wasted” money feeding the cats. Stunned into silence, the kids didn’t respond, but @mdaudyusof did, calling her out for her behaviour. Strangely, the woman then asked who would replace her “missing rice.” Her bizarre response left @mdaudyusof convinced something wasn’t quite right with her.

One of the teens who had been feeding the cats, Threads user @syhirahmn, later shared her own account of the incident. She said the woman had repeatedly questioned the point of feeding strays, and she was left shocked when the woman suddenly kicked the cats. She said she felt relieved that @mdaudyusof intervened right when it happened.

Afterwards, @syhirahmn checked on the cats to make sure they were unharmed. Before heading back to Johor, she reassured the public that the cats were fine, adding that they were already back to playing and climbing trees.

Several commenters said they hoped she would be reported since there’s video evidence so the matter could be properly addressed.
