Jokes can be wholesome and clever, but there are times when some people take it to extreme or even inappropriate levels.

One male content creator’s stunt left a woman with the heebie jeebies
A TikTok content ceator recently posted a point-of-view (POV) video at a clothing store, where he picked up a sports bra and brought it over to a female fitting room attendant telling her that he wants to “try it on”.
In the video, the staff looks visibly uneasy at his request but she retained her composure and obliged.
She later took to Threads and posted about the incident, highlighting the fact that the content creator had uploaded the prank video where her face can clearly be seen without her consent.

In the comments section, many said that what the man on TikTok did could be considered sexual harassment. Some also criticised him of being disrespectful towards the store’s female staff member.
Based on some comments, the man even tried to explain his actions through a TikTok Live session, but Malaysians were not having it and accused him of “playing victim”.
Meanwhile, others sympathised with the staff member.
“This girl is working hard to earn a living and this guy goes and produce inappropriate sexual jokes for content,” one Threads user said.
“What if the girl was related to you? Wouldn’t you feel embarrased doing things like this?” said another user.
He issued a public apology on TikTok
The content creator, who goes by @miendontcare69 on TikTok, published a public written apology on 19 July.
In the post, he apologises to the woman and informs that he has taken the video down from his account.
While what he did is not punishable by law (asking to try on clothes marketed to another gender), the questionable intent, tone of the humour, and the apparent uneasiness exhibited by the store’s female staff member are factors that set the internet against the content creator.
