20 Stations With Fares From 80 Sen, LRT3 Finally Gets Official Opening Date
The 37km Shah Alam Line featuring 20 stations will begin operations next Monday, connecting Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam and Klang with the wider Klang Valley rail network.

The long-awaited Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) line linking Shah Alam and surrounding areas will officially begin operations next Monday, June 29, with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim set to launch the service.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the LRT3, also known as the Shah Alam Line, is among the country’s major public transport projects and is expected to significantly improve connectivity for residents along the western corridor of the Klang Valley.
Spanning more than 37km, the line connects Bandar Utama in Petaling Jaya to Johan Setia in Klang and features 20 stations across Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, Shah Alam and Klang.
The stations are Bandar Utama, Kayu Ara, BU11, Damansara Idaman, Subang, Glenmarie 2, Kerjaya, Stadium Shah Alam, Dato’ Menteri, UiTM Shah Alam, Section 7 Shah Alam, Bandar Baru Klang, Pasar Klang, Jalan Meru, Jambatan Kota, Taman Selatan, Seri Andalas, Klang Jaya, Bandar Bukit Tingi and Johan Setia.
Low fares awaited the public
Fares start from 80 sen and go up to RM4.90 for cash payments, while the maximum fare for cashless transactions is capped at RM4.30.
As with other rail services, children, students, senior citizens and persons with disabilities (OKU) will enjoy a 50% concession fare.
Passengers will be able to interchange with the Kajang MRT Line at Bandar Utama station and the Kelana Jaya LRT Line at Glenmarie 2 station, further strengthening the integration of the Klang Valley’s rail network.
The LRT3 line will also be supported by approximately 2,300 Park N’ Ride parking bays to provide greater convenience for commuters.
