Two Soldiers Killed In Grenade Training Incident In Kedah
The victims were a male and a female soldier.

Two Malaysian Army personnel were killed during what is believed to have been a grenade training exercise at Kem Hobart in Gurun, Kedah, on Tuesday (16 June).
According to The Star, the victims, a male and a female soldier, suffered severe injuries during the incident at the camp’s firing range. Both were pronounced dead while being transported to Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital in Sungai Petani.
Kuala Muda district police chief Assistant Commissioner Hanyan Ramlan confirmed the incident, saying police received initial information at around 12.30pm.
Berita Harian reported that Army Chief General Tan Sri Azhan Md Othman said the victims were identified as Corporal Norazmi Abu Bakar from the Sixth Battalion of the Royal Malaysian Army Regiment (RAMD) and Private Siti Khadijah Sungip from the First Squadron of the Royal Engineer Regiment (RAJD).
Authorities have yet to disclose further details on how the tragedy unfolded, and investigations are ongoing.
