Influencer Ryzal Ibrahim’s decision to document his frantic drive to the hospital after his son nearly lost consciousness following a fall from his bed has sparked mixed reactions online.

According to Ryzal, both he and his wife, Maryam You Narae, were left terrified after their son, Rian, appeared unresponsive after the incident.

“He cried loudly at first, but then suddenly went quiet and closed his eyes as if he had fallen asleep. He was unresponsive, so we rushed him to the emergency department.

“Maryam and I tried our best to keep Rian awake throughout the journey, but his body showed no response. His eyes remained closed even as Maryam shouted her name at the top of her lungs,” Ryzal wrote on Instagram.

While some social media users defended the recording, saying such footage could help doctors assess a patient’s condition and progression, others questioned the necessity of uploading the video to social media in the first place.

Meanwhile, another viral video involving a couple displaying affection while travelling in a moving car has landed them in trouble with the authorities.

The Road Transport Department (RTD) has launched an investigation into the incident, which was captured in a video that recently circulated online.

RTD senior enforcement director Datuk Muhammad Kifli Ma Hassan said action would be taken against both the driver and the passenger involved.

“The investigation is still ongoing and once completed, summonses will be issued to them,” he was quoted as saying by Harian Metro.

In the video, a man was seen driving while a woman leaned against the dashboard facing him, with the pair appearing to engage in affectionate behaviour throughout the video.

The footage quickly drew criticism from netizens, many of whom raised concerns over road safety and the dangers posed by distracted driving.
