Award-winning Malaysian actress Nabila Huda has completed her mission to don the kebaya for 30 days during her May trip to New York City.
In her Instagram post on 29 April, Nabila announced that she received 30 kebayas of varying styles from Royal Kebaya, a local clothing brand.
Nabila also showed some of the accessories and shoes she would be packing to go with the different kebayas. She added that she had styling help from stylist Yana Baharudin aka YanaB.
Since it can be cold in New York, she managed to buy coats from a thrift store and obtained some fashionable jackets such as a feathery drape from a Malaysian designer.

Nabila Huda wrote in her Instagram caption
Nabila said she chose kebayas for her travelogue this time and that it would be stunning when she struts around Times Square for photos.
Her first post in a kebaya was uploaded on her Instagram account on 2 May. Each day she wore kebaya in different styles and paired them with coats on colder days.
She also gave a modern twist to the kebaya on one of the days by pairing a black kebaya top with dark jeans, boots, and a hat.
Her most stunning look would probably be her Day 18 look when she paired a pink kebaya with a white feathery jacket and sunglasses. She looked like a real-life Barbie exploring the city.
On 31 May, she posted her last kebaya ensemble: a white kebaya top with light blue bottom and a feathery jacket. Since it was the final day of the challenge, she posed in front of several IG-worthy locations including the Statue of Liberty.
In the same post, Nabila finally revealed why she was in New York. She was in the city to film an upcoming cooking show titled Makan Sana Sini New York.
While the show details have yet to be revealed, Nabila said she has to take some final shots before it’s a wrap.
Nabila is best known for her role in the thriller flick M4M4 (2020) and the horror film Munafik (2016).
With her latest kebaya adventure in New York City, she definitely captivated many Malaysians for proudly wearing traditional attire in bold styles.
