Ever since Coldplay’s KL concert tickets ran out, many have been sharing Carousell posts of scalpers looking to make a huge profit from reselling tickets.
We went on Carousell just to see how high the prices were getting and stumbled onto something amusing. It involves Coldplay concert tickets, but this guy isn’t looking to sell.
Carousell user @wecoolliekdat posted an advertisement on the community marketplace platform looking for a date to follow him for the upcoming Coldplay concert happening in November.
In the description, he said that he had bought two Cat 4 tickets where the seats are side by side.
He then cheekily added that he only realised that he did not have a girlfriend to bring along after buying said tickets.
According to @wecoolliekdat, he is looking for one person to take and that this person should also be single (VERY single) and a Coldplay fan.
He also included a Google form link which was a questionnaire to be filled up by those interested to be his Coldplay concert date.
Some of the questions included whether or not a first date at a mamak would be alright, reasons why they should be chosen for the ticket and their opinions on going dutch.
While we found the Carousell post amusing, please remember to keep safe during all online interactions and to not put yourself in a dangerous situation.
