Live Nation has announced that all the tickets for Coldplay Music of the Spheres World Tour are officially SOLD OUT. No more, nada, zilch, yilek!

Coldplay fans who queued for the second time today, after missing the pre-sales for CIMB cardholders only, are sad to have missed out on the opportunity to watch the concert live this November.

Many people have complained that they were still in the online queue when they found out all the tickets had been taken.

Some have turned their anger towards ticket scalpers who have posted their tickets for sale on online sites with marked-up prices.

The concert organiser Live Nation has cautioned fans not to purchase third-party tickets from these scalpers as these tickets could be voided on the day of entry.

However, seasoned concertgoers were doubtful that it makes any difference and don’t think any action would be taken against scalpers and touts.

Netizens advised others not to give in and risk buying tickets from scalpers and touts online.

This led to calls for concert organisers to make the tickets non-transferable and verified, similar to what was done for Ed Sheeran’s 2017 concert in Bangkok.

Some claimed that latecomers in the online queue managed to get tickets while those who queued as early as 8am did not.

An annoyed netizen said at this rate, they rather queue up for physical tickets so at least they know they were in line instead of putting up with a flawed system.

Previously, netizens asked Coldplay to consider having a day-two show to get ahead of ticket scalpers.

There’s no word yet whether that can happen and there’s no guarantee that it’ll do much to stop opportunists from trying to make a quick profit.
