Recently, students of University Putra Malaysia the took to the stage, dancing to famous songs from Kollywood and Bollywood in an event known as Bollynaach Showdown.
The video of the performance was uploaded on TikTok by @ngaishu26. Since then, the video has gone viral.
From the video, we can see the students dancing to a famous Kollywood song known as Raa Raa from the movie Chadramukhi.
This is an iconic song from the movie, choreographed using the traditional Indian dance known as Bharatanatyam.
The song has a special feel and energy to it and the students managed to capture it to its full extent.
The students included the Bharatanatyam steps in their performance which was done with elegant and grace.
The next song in the video was a Bollywood song known as ‘Kala Chashma’. This is an upbeat song which can make anyone listening to it feel like dancing.
The students also managed to capture the energy of the song again through their stylish performance.
The costumes worn by both the male and female dancers for the performance were also a treat for the eyes as they all looked gorgeous and dashing.
The video garnered many positive reactions.
