Social Media Flooded With Visuals Of Overturned Trailer And Mangled Car On 2nd Penang Bridge

From the visuals being shared on social media, it would appear that a terrible accident occurred on the second Penang Bridge, between Batu Kawan and Bayan Lepas, involving a trailer and a car.
Information from road users stated that there was massive traffic jam following the accident.
Videos and pictures of the accident are spreading like a wildfire on social media platforms.

From the video, it can be seen that the car involved in the accident is almost completely crushed.
As for the trailer, the load that it was carrying toppled in the middle of the road and the trailer itself appeared to be stuck on the side of the bridge.
The road was littered with debris form the accident.
However, the standstill traffic has started to move slowly after cleaning work on the road commenced.
There is no official information of the accident yet from the authorities.
