If there’s one thing that unites Malaysians, it’s our love for food — particularly our love for nasi lemak.

Recently, an Indian aunty selling Malaysia’s favourite breakfast went viral after a video of her stall was posted online.

The video which was reposted by @anthraxxx781 under the caption, “Her nasi lemak looks good”, has since gone viral, with several netizens gushing over the two types of sambal available — one for the spicy lovers and one for those who just like it mild.

The video also showed an array of “lauk” choices as well.

The akka (which means sister in Tamil), whose shop is located in Seri Kembangan, is also seen being able to cater to her customers by speaking in bits and pieces of other languages as well.

Not only was the akka friendly, but netizens also pointed out that her portions were also huge and generous.

Netizens flocked to the comment section to discuss how delicious her food looked like.

Generous portions. May she be blessed.

Another Twitter user @adikshira pointed out that the akka’s nasi lemak not only looked good but was also a complete nasi lemak set.

Her nasi lemak is a complete set. Peanuts, cucumbers, anchovies, an egg..it’s so hard to find a complete nasi lemak like this nowadays.

I love it when you find nasi lemak stalls like this. There’s an option for the sambal which means the stall owner understands those who don’t like spicy foods but also want to enjoy a plate of nasi lemak. I usually buy nasi lemak from Malay makcik and their sambal is usually spicy even though they say it isn’t.

Big portions, large chickens, large prawns, a big variety of lauk, there are even two versions of sambal of varying levels of pedas. I need to try this out. And I like it when a trader ikhlas berniaga. You can see it in the way she deals with her customers. Semoga murah rezeki.
