We’ve all had a bad experience or two when it comes to buying food from our beloved Ramadhan bazaars every year.

But have you ever imagined biting into a tooth?

Well, if you haven’t or can’t relate, TikTok user @rezqiyusufcowarehouse definitely can!

The TikTok user claimed that the vadai they had bought from a Ramadan bazaar in Banting had a rotten tooth hiding in it.

A surprise gift some might say.

While eating one of the vadais, her brother thought it was strange that even after several chews, there was still a piece that was quite challenging to bite into.

He continued chewing until he finally gave in to curiosity and pulled the hard piece out to take a closer look.

The piece that they had assumed to be an uncooked lentil turned out to be a tooth, much to her brother’s horror.

If you’ve ever come across a similar situation, it is advisable that you contact the Food Safety and Quality Division (FSQD) which was established by the Ministry of Health to ensure that the food processing activities are in compliance to the hygiene and safety requirements.

You may place your complaints at FSQD’s official Facebook page here.

Although the story might have upset some netizens, many also left humorous comments such as; TikTok user @abjad1starab who said:

What would you have done in this situation?

Because I, for one, would have fainted.
