Naatu Naatu, the song from the magnum opus RRR movie by SS Rajamouli bagged an Oscar for the best original song at the 95th Academy Awards.
This banger track beat giants like Lady Gaga and Rihana and is the first song out of the Indian Film Industry to win an Oscar.
The song is accompanied by energetic dance moves from Ram Charan who played Alluri Sitaram Raju and N.T. Rama Rao Jr. who played Komaram Bheem in the movie.
The moment the song came out, it became a big sensation on social media where people were seen dancing to the iconic steps of the song. It also amassed 125 million views on YouTube.
The award was received by music director M.M Keeravani and lyricist Chandrabose.
