If there is one thing that Malaysia does not lack, it’s parking drama.

A viral tweet shared by Twitter user @monkeydisease shows a white Alphard parked on a pedestrian zebra crossing, blocking the way for any soul walking by.

She tweeted saying she had to walk on the street with her baby in a stroller because the safer lane was blocked.

Wow, Alphard got the number plate J*** but no money to park at proper parking? Sad story. Had to walk on the street with my baby in a stroller because of this rich fam (2 ladies and a man going for a run in the park). Kalau kerusi roda (wheelchair) how?

She added that she hoped their finances would turn for the better so they can park comfortably in a parking lot and so pedestrians can have their sidewalk back.

As usual, netizens did not disappoint with their comments.

It all boils down to their attitude – wanting to make it easier for themselves even if it means troubling others just shows that they don’t care – for their own convenience at others’ expense. Selfish people. And don’t even get me started on those drivers who do not stop at pedestrian crossing. All behave the same.

Meanwhile Twitter user @_JetLag asked OP to contact the municipal council’s towing service so that they can tow away any vehicles blocking pedestrian paths.

Twitter user @rmzhafran on the other hand, suggested that summons be given according to the class of the car.

According to him, this would scare drivers from irresponsible parking in spaces meant for pedestrians.
