Recently, a tweet showed a picture and a video of a black car parking illegally on the road and causing traffic congestion.

The other road users couldn’t call the owner of the car to move his vehicle because there was no contact number left behind. Instead, they found a neon yellow police vest on the dashboard.

The online posts garnered reactions from netizens but have since been deleted. However, netizens have taken a screenshot of the post beforehand and the pictures are re-shared on other social media pages.

Currently, the police are trying to track the owner of the car. According to the police statement, the incident is believed to have happened in Persiaran Brash near Sultan Abdul Aziz Recreational Park (Padang Polo) in Ipoh.

The police are also looking for the individual who uploaded the pictures to help in the investigation.

The person is advised to contact Ipoh Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Department chief Deputy Superintendent Koo Boon Kuat at 016-4173 2222 to help identify the owner of the car.

Members of the public are also advised not to speculate on the matter as it could interfere with the investigation and damage the police’s reputation.
