Malaysia’s number one tower runner Soh Wai Ching once again beat his own record and emerged champion at the ‘Scale the Strat Tower” race in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on Sunday.

Soh ran 108 floors up the tallest tower in the United States involving 1,455 steps at a height of 260 metres in 6 minutes 46 seconds.

This current record equals the previous record set by Mexican tower runner Alexis Trujillo in 2020, Malay Mail reported.

The second and third places were won by two host athletes, Mark Ewell who finished the run in 8:42s and Mark Henderson who completed the race in 8:54s.

I will be back next year to aim for a sub 6:30 minutes!

Previously, Soh finished the same race in a record time of 6:57s in February 2022.

Soh also thanked his supporters and reminded everyone to stay tuned for the announcement of his next big project.
