Malaysians are not new to supernatural activities, however, hotels in Melaka are facing an issue where the guest are seeking for a refund for supernatural activities.

However, according to Sazali Sabri, exco member of Melaka Association of Hotels (MAH), this was one of the techniques used by some after they found lodging that’s closer to tourist attractions, as reported by The Star.

This usually occurs in hotels which were located far from the city and the guests expressed their disappointment when they did not receive the refunds that they were seeking for.

According to Sazali, the decision to issue a refund is up to the hotel management and it would be easier if the visitors brought up technical problems like broken air conditioners or lack of hygiene.

Visitors who book these hotels for more than a day should also understand the hotel’s situation. It is hard for them to cancel the bookings at the last minute or halfway through your stay.

Malaysia is filled with places that are known for their supernatural element, even in Melaka. However using it as a cover up story for a refund is not they way to go for.
