A lorry driver who drove against the flow of traffic along the Linkedua-Tanjung Kupang highway almost killed two motorists yesterday (3 January) around 4.30pm.
The incident took place before the Tanjung Kupang Rest and Recreation (R&R) area.
In the video, the lorry could be seen going in the opposite direction and hit an oncoming Mercedes Benz E250 and a Nissan Almera.
According to New Straits Times, the 44-year-old male driver of the Mercedes suffered minor injuries while the 46-year-old female driver of the Nissan Almera escaped unhurt.
The 41-year-old male lorry driver was also unhurt in the incident but was found intoxicated.

Iskandar Puteri police chief Assistant Commissioner Rahmat Ariffin, in a statement, said the lorry driver was on his way from Kulai to Tanjung Pelepas Port (PTP).
However, he missed turning into PTP at the Gelang Patah Rest and Treatment (R&R) area heading south.
The lorry driver then drove against the traffic to re-enter the PTP crossing before crashing into the two cars.
After receiving the emergency call at 4.31pm, the lorry driver was arrested and was found to be under the influence of alcohol.
The case is being investigated under Section 44(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
