Pandan Indah Car Bomb Case: Cops Nab Husband And Wife In Kedah
A couple, believed to be involved in the death of a cook due to an explosion in Pandan Indah, was arrested in Kedah.

Police have detained a married couple suspected of being involved in the car bomb blast incident at Pandan Indah, Ampang Jaya, last Thursday.
The husband and wife duo, aged 33 and 30 respectively, were arrested at a house in Kedah last night, New Straits Times reported.
They were immediately brought to the Ampang Jaya District Police Headquarters and will be remanded until 10 January 2023.
On 20 December 2022, a cook was killed when a package that was left on his car in front of a restaurant in Pandan Indah exploded.
The 28-year-old victim approached his Toyota Corolla Altis to remove the package after he was alerted by a colleague around 8.50pm.
Ampang Jaya police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Farouk Eshak believes the item wrapped in plastic immediately exploded upon contact with the victim.
The victim suffered serious injuries all over his body and arms. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the victim was pronounced dead at 9.45pm while undergoing treatment.
The victim’s car was also destroyed in the blast. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
It’s believed that the motive was jealousy.
