“Not The Time To Dance” Tourism Minister Tiong King Sing Says It’s Time To Focus And Work
Tiong acknowledges the challenging task ahead, which includes reviving tourism in Malaysia.

Newly appointed Tourism Minister Tiong King Sing said it’s time to fully focus on the job at hand after an old video of him dancing resurfaced online and went viral.
Posting on Twitter, the Bintulu MP said he had a meeting with the tourism ministry officials in Putrajaya on 6 December and noted the challenging task ahead to rebuild Malaysia.
It’s not the time to dance like in the viral video before this.

Previously, the viral video that was recorded in June showed Tiong drinking and dancing with locals in a longhouse for Gawai.
It’s a tradition for the locals there to celebrate guests and Tiong actively joining in the celebration showed that he respected the culture.
The funny video managed to brighten up some people’s day and netizens joked that the video was proof enough that Tiong is a capable Tourism Minister.
The video also drew positive comments about Tiong’s work in his constituency, especially how he strongly fought for Sarawakians and respected their way of life.
