MYAirline Gets Approval To Sell Tickets And Undertake Commercial Flights

Malaysia’s new low-cost carrier MYAirline is raring to go!

The Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) has granted the air service license (ASL) to MYAirline Sdn Bhd, effective 15 November 2022, The Star reported.

This is in addition to the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) awarded by the Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia (CAAM) on 1 October 2022.

With these approvals, MYAirline is now authorised to sell air tickets and undertake commercial air transport flights.

MYAirline’s fleet of Airbus A320-200 will take off from Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2).

On 15 November, MYAirline chief executive advisor Kathleen Tan jokingly appointed herself as the brand ambassador and explained what was going on behind the scenes.

MYAirline also posted on its official Instagram account two days ago that they have completed their last training flight and are raring to go.
