Padang Serai Election Postponed To 7 December
Nomination will be on 24 November and early voting is set for 3 December.

The Election Commission (EC) announced today that the Padang Serai election has been postponed to 7 December.
The election will not be held together with tomorrow’s 15th General Election (GE15) polling day due to the death of Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) candidate for the seat M Karupaiya.
In a statement, EC chairman Tan Sri Abdul Ghani Salleh said nomination will be on 24 November and early voting is set for 3 December.
Campaign period is 13 days from after nomination until 11.59pm 6 December.
Applications for postal votes can be made online from today until 22 November.
As for voter details, it will be made available from 23 November.
Candidates who have already been nominated will only need to be present for the purpose of the ballot paper draw, while new candidates will need to go through the usual full nomination process.
The other candidates vying for the Padang Serai seat are Datuk C Sivaarrajh from Barisan Nasional (BN), Hamzah Abdul Rahman from Parti Pejuang Tanah Air (Pejuang), Datuk Azman Nasrudin (Perikatan Nasional), Mohd Bakhri Hashim (Warisan) and independent candidate Ananda AK.
