Taking their complaints online, netizens have asked for the resignation of the current caretaker transport minister Wee Ka Siong and Rapid KL’s management for the company’s consistently bad service over the years.

They also asked for Anthony Loke to be reinstated as the transport minister.

A netizen who had been using the LRT since 2017 said the train service has always been riddled with never-ending issues such as out-of-service escalators and token machines.

Netizens demand for a change in the system after putting up with constant problems and inconveniences for years.

The frequent LRT breakdown and service interruptions put Rapid KL’s promise to carry out preventive maintenance or condition-based maintenance programme, as said in October 2022, to question.
