It can be hard to get home using the Light Rail Transit (LRT) especially after attending events that last late into the night.
Fortunately, there’s good news from Rapid KL regarding this matter to make travel more convenient for members of the public.
The Malay Mail reported that Rapid KL is extending the service hours at the Bukit Jalil LRT station until 1am on 1 October to accommodate the needs of those attending events at the National Sports Complex.
Rapid KL will also extend the operating hours of the connecting stations to take passengers to their final destination.
To ensure smooth travel, passengers are advised to use the Touch N’ Go.
The change in timing will make the commute home easier for attendees of the Cuckoo Appreci8th concert at Axiata Arena on 1 October 2022. The concert will be held from 6pm to 12 am.
Another event, Riway International’s Leaders Recognition Night – Rise of the Heroes, is also happening on the same day at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.
The event will feature performances from the ‘Pop Maestro’ Harlem Yu, ‘King of Classics’ Sky Wu and ‘King of Ballads’ Sam Lee.
