Najib Is Discharged From Cheras Rehab Hospital, Returns To Kajang Prison

The latest media statement from the Health Ministry (KKM) said Datuk Seri Najib Razak has been discharged from the Cheras Rehabilitation Hospital (CRH) today (23 September) and will return to Kajang Prison.
After undergoing several health checks and rehab treatment, Najib’s health is in good condition.
He has also received some rehab exercise pointers from the physiotherapy department at CRH.
Najib and his family have also been informed about his current health conditions and health plan.
CRH promises to stay committed to providing optimum medical attention to all patients.
Najib was admitted to CRH after being referred to by the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) on 19 September.
He was sent to the hospital on 12 September for medical attention when his health deteriorated.
Based on reports, Najib was admitted to the hospital due to a recurring stomach ulcer issue and a change in medication for his blood pressure.

Najib, who’s currently serving his 12-year jail sentence for misappropriating RM42 million of SRC International Sdn Bhd funds, still faces the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) trial but it has been put on hold when he fell ill.
