Some people are envious of models because their jobs look glamorous and fun. However, Malaysian model Jia Yii, who recently walked at Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW2022), gave everyone a peek behind the scenes and it was horrifying.
In the now viral TikTok video, Jia Yii showed videos of her strutting multiple designer outfits before cutting to a video showing her bruised and cut heels.
She captioned the video with the phrase, “Runway vs Reality.”

The injuries are believed to be sustained from the high heels she had to wear while walking down the runway.
Netizens were aghast when they saw her injuries and wondered how she put up with the pain during KLFW2022.
For all her trouble, netizens also hoped that she was well compensated and paid on time. They agreed that beauty was indeed pain.

They also asked whether she could wear a plaster before walking down the runway. Jia Yii replied that she did but judging from the video, it didn’t help much.
