The police have found that the group that gathered outside the Istana Negara did not present any application to hold the gathering yesterday (24 August).

The group called Pertubuhan Jalinan Perpaduan Negara Malaysia (PJPNM) gathered outside the palace around 2pm to ask the Agong to grant former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak a royal pardon.

There were no notices to the police for the gathering. We will call up the organisers and record their statement.
