A male driver was injured after the car that he was driving skidded and fell onto a nine meters deep railway track early this morning.
The Proton Iriz driver fell onto the railway near Wadi Hana at about 2am, Berita Harian reported.
According to Larkin Fire and Rescue Station Operations Commander Mohd Nazaruddin Ahmad Zainuddin, they were alerted of the incident at about 2.32am.
Mohd Nazaruddin said that 11 men were rushed to the scene to rescue the victim.
“As we arrived at the location, we found a 28-year-old man who suffered a slight injury.
“We went down with the medical team from Hospital Sultanah Aminah (HSA) to treat the victim before taking him up on a stretcher,” he said.
He added that the victim had lost control of his vehicle when he was travelling from Tebrau Highway towards the city centre, causing the vehicle to skidded and fall onto the railway track.
