Langkawi And Port Dickson Receive Thunderstorm Warning

Two holiday hotspots – Langkawi (Kedah) and Port Dickson (Negeri Sembilan) – have received a thunderstorm warning from MetMalaysia.

On MetMalaysia’s Facebook post, the forecast points to rain that’ll last for more than an hour until 10am or with rainfall measuring over 20mm/hour.

The other states receiving similar weather warnings are:

• Kedah
• Perak – Manjung, Perak Tengah, Bagan Datukm Hilir Perak
• Selangor – Sabak Bernam, Sepang
• Negeri Sembilan – Seremban, Port Dickson, Kuala Pilah, Rembau, Jempol, Tampin

Rain and thunderstorm warnings are also forecasted to occur in Melaka and two areas in Johor namely, Tangkak and Muar.

Over in Sarawak, the same warning applies to Sarikei, Sibu, Kanowit and Kapit.
