His mother, Wan Esuriyanti, thanked the public who sent in tip-offs to help the family’s search.

From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to extend our highest appreciation to our family and friends, who has been helping us in bringing Ali home. Ali is now in good health, though a bit lethargic.

Ali’s mother, Wan Esuriyanti wrote in Facebook

She also thanked the police, investigating officer (Sergeant) Nur Arfidah Mohamed of Sepang police headquarters and her team, especially Corporal Nasir and a constable from IPD Ampang Jaya who found Ali and brought him back to his family.

They found Ali before calling his parents to inform them about the good news around 3.26am.
