Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor), in collaboration with Animonsta Studios Sdn Bhd (Monsta), launched the fourth episode of BoBoiBoy Air on 9 June in conjunction with World Environment Day.

The fourth episode in the BoBoiBoy Air series is a continuation of the collaboration between Air Selangor and Monsta, which was first launched in June 2021, to educate children about the importance of water conservation and smart water consumption.

The collaboration further reiterates Air Selangor’s ongoing commitment to increasing the public’s civic awareness of protecting the environment, specifically raw water sources.

The special screening session at Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) Mid Valley Megamall invited a total of 80 children from Rumah Kasih Harmoni Paya Jaras and Asrama Damai Kuang, as well as friends of the media, for BoBoiBoy Air’s fourth episode premiere.

The fourth episode tells the story of BoBoiBoy’s journey to fight Raksasa Sampah to ensure rivers are free from litter and pollution.

The BoBoiBoy Air animation series can be viewed on Air Selangor’s official Facebook and Youtube page.

Monsta hopes that the collaboration will positively impact the society, especially children as we believe in the need of starting from a young age. Ultimately, a clean water source is not just for our benefit but also for our future generations. We certainly hope that this collaboration will educate the society in Malaysia on the importance of having a clean water source.

Look for the HydroSquad

The water conservation effort will be further spearheaded through HydroSquad, led by local celebrities and personalities such as Nabil Ahmad, Aishah Sinclair, and Arwind Kumar aka Mak Cik Roastmah.

The HydroSquad will discuss topics on water conservation and preservation informatively with all Malaysians through its Water Handbook via Air Selangor’s Master Class series on Air Selangor’s official Facebook and Instagram page.

We are very pleased to continue our community efforts in educating the public who are also water consumers, regardless of where they are, as protecting our water sources specifically our rivers is a shared responsibility. Through the BoBoiBoy Air animation series, we have garnered over 7.7 million views and we hope that this message will reach the masses and is practiced for the long-term well-being of our environment. If each of us can play our part in protecting our water source from pollution, I am certain that we will be able to reap the benefit in the years to come.
