Several Areas In KL Are Flooded, There Are Still Some Passable Roads
The non-stop rain in the morning has caused flash floods again in the city.

Flash floods have inundated several areas in Kuala Lumpur due to non-stop rains this morning.
Netizens were quick to post up images of the rising waters and floods in their areas on social media for others to see.

Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) tweeted that the Smart Tunnel has been closed off completely in preparation for the flood as of 12.28pm today.
DBKL added that Jalan Ampang to Jalan Dang Wangi is inundated with floodwaters. According to Free Malaysia Today, the waters on these roads could not be redirected due to clogged drains.

The police identified six roads that are still passable for motorists and they are:
- Jalan Changkat Thambi Dollah
- Jalan Maharajalela
- Jalan Brunei
- Jalan Pudu
- Jalan Kuching
- Jalan Raja
An update by the police at 1.30pm said flood waters had receded in Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, Batu Bata, Kampung Periuk, Lorong Raja Mahadi and Jalan Ampang.
Earlier today, the meteorological department issued a thunderstorm warning in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Putrajaya that was expected to last until 1pm.
