Johor Darul Ta’zim football club owner Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim dares Kedah Football Association (KFA) president Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor to name the person that he claims is controlling the Malaysian Football League.
The regent of Johor, made the call via his Twitter following Sanusi’s statement that there should be no ‘deity’ that can dictate the local football arena.
Tunku Ismail, popularly known as TMJ, said that Sanusi should refrain from making baseless accusations without providing any proof.
“Who is he talking about? Give me a name. Even the McDonald’s clown can come out with this type of talk.
“Let’s have the whole story, bring out the evidence and facts. Every time you sink (go down), you keep making sensational stories to raise your ratings. Typical politician.” tweeted TMJ.
Dia cakap pasal siapa? Sebut nama. Ceritakan segala galanya. Ini cakap main sembuh badut Mc Donald pun boleh. Cerita semua, keluarkan bukti dan fakta. Setiap kali tenggelam terus buat cerita sensasi nak naikkan rating. Typical Politician. https://t.co/YZjNdUjWKt— HRH Crown Prince of Johor (@HRHJohorII) May 23, 2022
The statement made by Sanusi was seen as the reason that triggered JDT to immediately recall national striker Syafiq Ahmad from Kedah Darul Aman FC (KDAFC). According to reports, Syafiq will report back to JDT following the end of the international break next month.
Sanusi also appeared to downplay the consequence of losing Syafiq, saying that KDAFC’s performance will not be affected.
Meanwhile, commenting on the ‘deity’ issue, Sanusi said that he had not mentioned any names, and felt it was odd that certain parties were offended.
