Unscheduled Water Disruption In 15 Housing Areas Due To Burst Pipe

Unfortunately, there’s an unscheduled water disruption at several housing areas today due to a pipe burst.
The Star reported that emergency repair works will be carried out at the Pudu Ulu Baru Pump House, Taman Pertama.
Air Selangor said the repair works started from 11.30am today (30 April) and is expected to be completed on the same day around 9.30pm.

The 15 areas affected are:
- Bukit Permai Industri
- Kampung Cheras Baru
- Pandan Bistari
- Taman Bukit Pandan
- Taman Bukit Permai
- Taman Bukit Teratai
- Taman Mawar
- Taman Mega Jaya
- Taman Melur
- Taman Mestika
- Taman Muda
- Taman Pandan Mewah
- Taman Putra
- Taman Saga
- Taman Seraya
Water supply will return in stages to affected homes once repair works are completed. Additionally, water tankers would be mobilised to the affected areas with priority given to critical premises.
A few netizens complained that it’s the fourth time they’re experiencing water disruption in April and demanded an explanation from Air Selangor.
Another person alleged that the same pump is always broken and asked for the pipe to be replaced as the same issues keep happening.
