TMJ Offers His Lawyers’ Services For Free To Help Bella In Rumah Bonda Abuse Case

Tunku Ismail Idris said his lawyers’ will hold a watching brief on behalf of the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development free of charge.

Not long after Her Highness Che’ Puan Besar Khaleeda Bustamam voiced her support for Bella, her husband, the Crown Prince of Johor Tunku Ismail Idris Sultan Ibrahim, released a statement on his Instagram Story as well.

He has contacted and discussed with his lawyers regarding the Rumah Bonda-Bella case.

Tunku Ismail explained that the case is currently being tried at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court, and the public prosecution team has started proceedings against the accused.

The case involved two parties: public prosecutors on behalf of the government/ public and lawyers appointed to represent the accused.

Tunku Ismail said he would contact the Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Datuk Seri Rina Harun and offer his lawyers’ services to hold a watching brief on behalf of the Ministry free of charge.

Netizens thanked both the Crown Prince and his wife for helping Bella seek justice.

One of them shared that Bella should have been cared for with love instead of being treated like an animal.

Che’ Puan Besar Khaleeda Bustamam vowed to help Bella seek justice with all the power she has a few days ago. She said she was sick and tired of seeing people who harmed children get away with their crimes.

The response came about when netizens criticised the accused abuser’s team of lawyers for seemingly making light of a serious situation when they posed for a happy group photo with the accused.

One of the lawyers also shared cross-examination details on Twitter.
