[Watch] 2 Men With Parangs Robbed A Convenience Store In Ipoh

The robbers hid their identities by wearing helmets and face masks.

Two men, believed to be locals, were caught on CCTV robbing a convenience store in Menglembu in Ipoh yesterday (23 February).

The men, wearing helmets and face masks, barged into the shop while armed with parangs around 6pm and forced the shop staff to hand over their personal belongings.

They emptied the cash register too before leaving the shop with the stolen goods.

According to Perak police chief Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid, the victims suffered losses amounting to RM1,600.

The police are hunting for the two suspects and the case will be investigated under Section 395/397 of the Penal Code for committing gang and armed robbery, as reported by Kosmo.
