Since we’re advised to combat Covid-19 at home, there needs to be more awareness on what patients need to do to keep themselves safe and in check.
While most of us are equipped well to do so, the vulnerable communities such as the migrants, Orang Asli, the B40 community and others may need some help.
As such, the Malaysia Red Crescent Society (MRCS) has prepared the #CovidHomeCare kits to provide support to Covid-19 positive patients, especially those from vulnerable communities.
Each handy #CovidHomeCare Kits contains:
- Thermometer
- Oximeter
- Basic medicines such as paracetamol, lozenges, oral rehydration salts
- Hand sanitisers
- An RTK-Antigen self-test kit
- Masks
Each kit also comes with a deck of helpful notes to explain what to do in quarantine and how to use the items in the kit.
Where to get the #CovidHomeCare kits?
The kit will be available at MRCS centres across nine states: Klang Valley, Kelantan, Penang, Kedah, Johor, Melaka, Pahang, Sabah and Sarawak.
The public can opt for delivery or pick-up at these locations while Covid-19 patients will receive theirs via delivery. The delivery of the kits depends on the availability of the kits.
To secure the #CovidHomeCare kit, you can submit your request via a Google form and an MRCS representative will be in touch.
