Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin announced on 7 February that the Health Ministry (KKM) will allow Sinovac recipients for their primer doses (first and second dose) to continue receiving the Sinovac vaccine as their boosters.
Following this, the Sinovac vaccine for booster dose will be available for walk-in at all Offsite PPVs under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) for free, starting 14 February on Monday.
The other vaccines are available for booster shots in the Offsite PPVs too.
To get the Sinovac booster dose, head over to the ProtectHealth website to check the list of Offsite PPVs.
However, KKM still recommends Pfizer boosters for Sinovac recipients as it offers a higher level of protection.
