In a report by The Star, KTMB has suspended a Shuttle Timuran 51 employee after investigations.

According to the statement posted on Facebook, KTMB confirmed that Shuttle Timuran No. 51 train left Tumpat station at 4.05 am but did not stop at Hentian Kuala Gris at 7.08 am.

KTMB apologised to the students, parents, and the school involved for the situation today.

They also promised to make improvements and not to repeat a similar incident.

Netizens praised KTMB for the speedy response and action taken.

A few of them also felt sorry for the train driver. It’s not said whether it was an honest mistake by the train driver for forgetting since it was the school holidays a while ago.

They said the train driver should be forgiven for his mistakes and be given a second chance.

After all, everyone deserves a do-over as long as they learned their lesson.
