Delivery Rider Runs The Red Light, Gets Knocked Over By A Car At Port Klang

Despite the number of road accidents happening every year, there are some of us who still push our chances on the road.
Just recently, a short dashcam clip showed two delivery riders running the red light at a road intersection in Port Klang.
When the lights changed, a Honda CRV from the opposite lane ploughed into one of the delivery riders and sent the motorcyclist flying.
Based on the pictures shared on social media, the Honda CRV sustained damage to the front of the car and the contents from the motorcycle were strewn all over the road.
Pictures also allegedly showed the rider sitting by the roadside and he escaped with serious leg wounds.
While it’s understandable that delivery riders are trying to send out the orders fast, it’s still a big risk to flout road safety rules at the expense of their lives.
A few netizens also reminded others not to rush the delivery riders and reminded the riders to think of their families too.
Another person said he hopes that the delivery rider that narrowly escaped with his life will look back on this incident and learn from it.
Here’s hoping that this incident serves as a wake-up call for many Malaysians on the road.
