Buletin Utama TV3 journalist Juliana Sharin’s recent news report brought many netizens to tears.

Juliana joined the search and rescue team (SAR) at a resort in Bentong where the remains of a 6-year-old boy Emmanuel Chang was found after he got swept away by floodwaters with his family on Saturday.

She also showed the location where rescuers found another woman’s body.

While she was still reporting, rescuers found a kid’s backpack that was filled with toys. Inside the backpack were a variety of small toys, a teddy bear, a bottle of hand sanitiser, a face mask and snacks.

It’s not confirmed whether the backpack belonged to Emmanuel but it was enough to make many viewers tear up too.

Netizens took to Twitter to express their sadness and shared how heartbreaking it was.

Another netizen said they can’t imagine a scared child calling for help while the water was rising.
