Due to the rising river waters which caused the floods, Air Selangor is forced to shut down two water treatment plants, LRA Langat 2 and LRA Cheras Batu 11.
On the other hand, LRA Sg Langat will be operating at half capacity.
According to Malay Mail, the rising river levels have caused murkiness at the LRA Sg Langat plant so it can only produce 40% of its usual daily supply.
The list below shows the areas in Kuala Lumpur, Hulu Langat and Petaling which will be facing water disruption due to the shutdown of both water treatment plants.
