A Facebook user Mohd Fadhli shared screenshots of a conversation between a Standard 6 female student and a teacher which shocked netizens.

The student scolded the teacher and used foul language for being given an essay for homework.

According to the student, there was too much homework to do and she’s exhausted. She added that she will burn down the school too.

The teacher in question shared with Mohd Fadhli that she was shocked to receive the messages and checked with her other students whether they were coping well with the amount of homework.

The claim that there was a lot of homework was untrue and the other students said they have no problems completing the homework given.

According to the teacher, the student who sent the foul messages usually procrastinated and that was why her workload added up.

Mohd Fadhli advised parents to monitor their children’s behaviour and messages. He also reminded teachers that the students are also feeling burned out and that it’s important to bring back some fun in the classroom.

Netizens sympathised with the teacher and expressed their shock due to the language used by the student.

A netizen said they felt angry when they read the messages sent by the student while another person said if their child did that, they would want to know.

Another netizen said the student’s outburst probably shows how much pressure is put on students to do well in school.

A few of them point the blame at parents for not instilling good values in their children.
