Rapid KL is offering complimentary rides to people with disabilities in conjunction with International Day of Disabled Persons which falls on 3 December.
From 4 to 12 December, the disabled community along with their assistants or guides are able to travel on public transports such as LRTs, MRTs, BRTs and Monorails for free from 6am to 12am.
Here’s how to qualify for the complimentary trips:
- Show your OKU Card from the Social Welfare Department.
- Show your guide’s MyKad to the officer at the counter.
- Get a token each for your complimentary trips.
If you’re travelling with someone who’s visually impaired, they can get refreshments using the Braille-enabled vending machines in 10 LRT stations in Klang Valley, listed in the link below.
