Residents in USJ 1 to USJ 27 areas in the Petaling district are currently facing an unscheduled water supply disruption and low water pressure due to an ‘airlock’ issue on the main distribution pipe.
The affected main distribution pipe carries water to the Sime UEP pond in Kampung Kenangan in Puchong.
Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) Corporate Communications head Elina Baseri said the water supply will be channelled in stages once the level of the distribution pond is stabilised.
According to a tweet by Air Selangor, the issue should be resolved by midnight on 21 November 2021.

The restoration will vary depending on the distance of the resident’s premises and the water pressure from the distribution pond.
According to Malay Mail, Air Selangor will also mobilise water tankers to the affected areas, prioritising critical premises such as hospitals, dialysis centres, and funeral services.
